Melon Roll: Market Escape — Play & Download HTML5 Game

How to Play Melon Roll
Melon Roll: Market Escape is a cheerful HTML5 arcade game about a smiling watermelon that refuses to stay on the fruit stand. Roll through a sunny market street, hop over wooden crates and traffic cones, and collect watermelon seeds along the way. The controls are deliberately simple, so you can begin playing immediately on a phone, tablet, or desktop computer. There is no account or installation required for the embedded game.
Your watermelon moves forward automatically. Tap the JUMP button, tap the game screen, or press Space, W, or the Up arrow on a keyboard to jump. Press again while you are in the air to perform a double jump. The second jump gives you another chance to clear an obstacle or reach a seed floating above the street. Watch the approaching objects and choose your timing instead of holding the jump control down.
Ordinary seeds increase your score, while golden seeds award extra points and surround your watermelon with a temporary protective shield. A shield absorbs a collision before your health is reduced. You begin with three hearts, and taking a hit gives you a brief period of protection so one mistake does not immediately end the run. As you reach new stages, the street changes color, your speed increases gradually, and you recover a heart up to the three-heart maximum.
Use the pause button whenever you need a break. Sound effects are optional and can be switched on with the music-note button. A fullscreen control is available where your browser allows it. Your best harvest is saved in the current browser when local storage is available. A new attempt starts from the first stage, giving you a fresh chance to improve your timing and beat your previous seed total.
If the online game does not run correctly, wait thirty seconds for the Download Game button above the game to appear. The download is a single HTML file named Melon-Roll.html, not a ZIP archive. Save that file and open it with a browser that supports local HTML games. The downloaded game contains its own graphics and sounds, so the gameplay does not depend on external game assets. Advertisements and the creator-support panel rotate separately below the download button, outside the game canvas.
