Frog Lagoon is a colorful HTML5 adventure about a small frog exploring a lively swamp. Jump between broad lily pads, watch insects drift through the reeds, and use a long animated tongue to catch targets within reach. Simple controls make it easy to begin, while a growing collection of habitats gives you a reason to return for another little adventure.

Explore 50 levels with 50 illustrated background designs and 50 insect designs. Sunlit water, willow trees, glowing marshes, colorful reeds, and changing palettes create a varied journey. Flies, butterflies, dragonflies, beetles, and moths appear in different colors and shapes. These are playful game illustrations, designed to stand out against the water and make every new habitat feel a little different.

On a phone or tablet, tap a lily pad to leap toward it. You can also use the arrow buttons to choose a destination and press JUMP. Press CATCH when an insect is close enough for your tongue to reach it, or tap an insect to aim at that target. On a computer, the left and right arrow keys select pads, Space starts a jump, and J activates the tongue.

The golden reach indicator helps you decide when to strike. Moving closer often works better than repeatedly catching from the same pad. Five tongue animation patterns unlock across the adventure: a straight shot, a wavy tongue, a spiral snap, a twin tongue, and a wide sweep. Experiment with your position and time your catches as insects move across the play area.

Each habitat has a catch target and a 90-second timer. If the timer expires, you lose a heart and receive another attempt. After three attempts, you can retry the same level. Jumping has no falling penalty, allowing you to experiment while learning the controls. Later levels gradually increase insect speed and the number of insects needed to finish.

Complete a habitat to unlock the next one. Progress saves locally in your browser when browser storage is available, so return on the same device to continue. Sound is optional and can be enabled using the music button. Open the Levels menu to revisit unlocked habitats.
