How to Play Octo Net

On a phone or tablet, use the on-screen arrow buttons to climb in any direction. You can also touch a position on the wall to move toward it. Press CAST NET to automatically aim at the nearest insect. On a computer, move with the arrow keys or WASD. Aim with your mouse and click to throw a net, or use the Space key. Hold Space for repeated casts while the short cooldown controls your firing speed.

Every insect you catch brings you closer to the wall's target. Catch several insects in quick succession to build a combo and earn extra points. Watch your three hearts: touching an insect costs health, so chasing every target directly is not always the safest approach. Leave enough room to move away and throw from a comfortable distance instead.

Clear a wall before the countdown ends to advance to the next stage. Later stages introduce a larger catch target and quicker insects, while completing a wall restores one heart, up to the three-heart limit. Remaining time also contributes bonus points. The challenge encourages you to balance accurate hunting with steady movement rather than staying in one corner.

A Small Tip for a Bigger Score

Try following the movement of a nearby insect instead of rushing through a crowded group. Cast, reposition, and cast again.
