Whisperleaf: Forest Adventure is a free HTML5 action platform game that takes you through fifty forest trails filled with movement, exploration, and aerial enemies. Step into the boots of an explorer wearing a teal hiking jacket and travel past realistic trees, mossy rock ledges, distant mountains, and a flowing waterfall. Falling leaves and swaying plants bring the woodland to life while you search for the glowing exit.
The journey is built around distinct routes rather than a single repeating course. Early stages introduce walking and jumping, while later trails combine ravines, elevated ridges, moving stone platforms, fragile ledges, thorn patches, and golden launch pads. Moving platforms require timing, crumbling stones encourage quick decisions, and spring pads carry the explorer to higher ground. Each level has its own named route, and the level selector lets you explore the available challenges.
Black ravens add an action challenge above the platforms. They flap their wings, patrol the forest, and drop stones when the explorer approaches. Watch for the warning above a raven and keep moving to avoid the falling rocks. Your explorer carries an automatic weapon with a dedicated fire control. Hold the fire button to shoot repeatedly; automatic aiming helps target nearby ravens so you can concentrate on movement and jumps.
You begin with five health hearts. A stone hit removes health, and a short protection period prevents repeated damage immediately after an impact. Red heart pickups are placed along the trail and restore one missing heart when collected. Some defeated ravens can also leave a heart. If you fall into a ravine or lose all your health, you return to your latest checkpoint with restored health, giving you another opportunity to learn the route.
On a phone or tablet, use the left and right buttons to move, JUMP to leap, and hold FIRE to attack. On a computer, use the arrow keys or A and D, Space to jump, and F or J to fire. Sound starts after you enter the forest and can be toggled from the top bar. You can also pause the game or request fullscreen mode using the controls at the top.
Golden forest lights are optional collectibles, so you do not need to gather every light to finish a stage. Reach the glowing gate to move automatically to the next level. Progress is saved in your browser when local storage is available. Play directly below, experiment with the routes, and see whether you can reach the Heart of the Forest in level fifty.
