Explore the forest with eight monkey moves

Canopy Quest 3D is a free browser adventure that puts you in control of a curious monkey exploring an open tropical forest. Move freely in every direction, turn the camera around your character, and look for golden bananas among the trees. Blue skies, drifting clouds, a river, hanging vines, and other monkeys create a relaxed setting for exploration. You can also switch on rain and listen to the forest ambience.

The adventure centers on eight connected movement skills. Climb a trunk with your hands and feet, circle around it, and choose a route into the canopy. Leap toward a neighboring tree and catch its trunk automatically when you arrive close enough. Beneath a branch, hang by your hands and traverse sideways. Switch into a swing, build momentum, and release with a jump to travel through the forest.

Higher branches offer another way forward. Aim upward during a leap, catch a reachable branch, and pull your body onto it. Once you are standing above the forest floor, use the movement controls to walk along the branch while the monkey balances. Hanging vines support both climbing and swinging. If a jump goes wrong, an automatic rescue catch can grab a nearby branch and give you a chance to recover.

On mobile, use the joystick to move and drag the scene to rotate the camera. GRAB attaches to a nearby trunk, branch, or vine. Hold UP or DOWN to climb, use SWING to start swinging beneath a reachable branch, and tap JUMP to leap or release. Hold UP while hanging to pull onto the branch. EAT uses one collected banana. The question-mark button opens a complete guide to all eight moves.

Desktop players can use WASD or the arrow keys to move, E to grab, Space to jump, F to eat, and R to change the weather. Explore at your own pace and try different routes between the trees. The minimap helps locate the surrounding forest and bananas. Landscape orientation gives more room for the camera and controls. This HTML5 game requires a browser with WebGL support, and sound begins after you start playing.
