How to Play Frog Lagoon: Controls and Beginner Tips
This guide helps you begin Frog Lagoon with a clear plan. Open the original game page using the link below, read the current start-screen instructions, and make your first attempt about learning how the game responds. The control notes below follow the game's published instructions.

Your first objective
Jump across lily pads, catch colorful insects with five tongue powers, and explore 50 illustrated swamp levels in Frog Lagoon, a free HTML5 browser game.
Controls and starting the game
Tap Let's hop, then use JUMP and CATCH to begin.
On a phone or tablet, tap a lily pad to leap toward it.
You can also use the arrow buttons to choose a destination and press JUMP.
Press CATCH when an insect is close enough for your tongue to reach it, or tap an insect to aim at that target.
On a computer, the left and right arrow keys select pads, Space starts a jump, and J activates the tongue.
Choose a landing before catching
Tap a reachable lily pad and watch the frog settle before choosing the next action. Bring an insect within tongue range instead of repeatedly attacking a distant target. Learn one tongue power at a time, and use the broad pads as comfortable places to plan your next leap. A controlled route is easier to repeat than frantic hopping.
A useful first-session routine
Start with one manageable section and test each action separately. Once movement feels comfortable, combine it with the main objective rather than adding every action at once. After a failed attempt, change one decision and try again; this makes it easier to understand which timing or route helped. On a phone, use the visible touch controls. On a computer, click inside the game before using its keyboard commands. Fullscreen may require a direct tap and depends on your browser.
