How to Play Hypercube Explorer 4D: Controls and Beginner Tips
This guide helps you begin Hypercube Explorer 4D with a clear plan. Open the original game page using the link below, read the current start-screen instructions, and make your first attempt about learning how the game responds. The control notes below follow the game's published instructions.

Your first objective
Your position, each crystal position and the collection rules are all calculated in a four-dimensional coordinate system. A crystal is collected only when your player approaches it closely enough in all four coordinates at the same time.
Controls and starting the game
How to Play On desktop, use A and D or the left and right arrow keys to move in X.
Press Q and E to move continuously in W, the fourth spatial direction.
On a phone, use LEFT, RIGHT, W-, W+ and JUMP.
Match the W coordinate deliberately
Two objects can overlap in the projected picture while remaining separated in four-dimensional space. Move along W in small steps and watch the coordinate display as you approach a crystal. Use ordinary left-right movement and jumping separately at first. This makes it easier to identify which coordinate still needs adjustment.
A useful first-session routine
Start with one manageable section and test each action separately. Once movement feels comfortable, combine it with the main objective rather than adding every action at once. After a failed attempt, change one decision and try again; this makes it easier to understand which timing or route helped. On a phone, use the visible touch controls. On a computer, click inside the game before using its keyboard commands. Fullscreen may require a direct tap and depends on your browser.
