How to Play Rain Kingdom: Controls and Beginner Tips
This guide helps you begin Rain Kingdom with a clear plan. Open the original game page using the link below, read the current start-screen instructions, and make your first attempt about learning how the game responds. The control notes below follow the game's published instructions.

Your first objective
Ride a flying rain ball through 1000 distinct routes in Rain Kingdom. Explore six painted worlds with sunshine, rain, wind, sandstorms and snow in two-minute HTML5 adventures.
Controls and starting the game
Tap RIDE (E) to board or leave a rain ball, and LEAF (F) for the flying umbrella.
Hold LIGHTNING (X or J) to hit up to five nearby ravens with chain lightning.
Hold THUNDER (Z) for repeated area shockwaves when the hammer recharges.
Watch the raven and defeat counters and hold a weapon button to keep defending.
Combine travel tools with defense
Practice boarding the rain ball and opening the leaf umbrella somewhere with room to move. Use them to approach platforms at a manageable height. When ravens gather, lightning can strike several nearby targets, while thunder provides an area response when ready. Keep watching your position while holding an attack; defending alone does not carry you along the route.
A useful first-session routine
Start with one manageable section and test each action separately. Once movement feels comfortable, combine it with the main objective rather than adding every action at once. After a failed attempt, change one decision and try again; this makes it easier to understand which timing or route helped. On a phone, use the visible touch controls. On a computer, click inside the game before using its keyboard commands. Fullscreen may require a direct tap and depends on your browser.
