Touch or Keyboard? A Control Guide for Three Browser Adventures
Compare the published mobile and keyboard controls for Canopy Quest, Cloudweaver, and Shark Bay, with practical tips for learning each input style.
Learn the action, then the button
Switching from a phone to a computer changes how your hands control a game. The underlying action may stay familiar, but the input can feel surprisingly different. Begin by identifying movement, camera control, and the game's special interaction. The mappings below come from the published game descriptions. If an in-game help screen shows an updated mapping, follow the version you are currently playing.
Canopy Quest 3D
On mobile, the joystick moves the monkey and dragging the scene rotates the camera. GRAB connects to a nearby trunk, branch, or vine; UP and DOWN control climbing. SWING and JUMP help with transfers, and holding UP while hanging pulls the monkey onto a branch. On desktop, the page lists WASD or arrows for movement, E for grabbing, Space for jumping, F for eating a banana, and R for weather. Open the question-mark guide for the complete movement explanation.
Cloudweaver: Spider Realms
Mobile players move with the lower-left joystick, swipe the open scene to rotate the camera, and use Jump, Web, and Swing at the lower right. The published desktop mapping uses WASD, dragging to look, Space to jump, E to attach or release silk, and clicking to fire a web. Practise attachment and release separately from shooting so you can recognize what each action does before combining them during a crossing.
Shark Bay Adventure
The mobile controls include GO, steering arrows, TURBO, DIVE, and RISE. On desktop, the page lists WASD or arrows for movement, T for turbo, Shift for diving, and E for rising. R, F, and Q trigger tricks. Learn steering and depth changes before adding acrobatics. Notice that the same E key performs different actions across these games, which is a good reason to read each control guide.
Make your first minute useful
Choose a stable starting area, test movement, adjust the view, and try one special action. Avoid pressing every available button immediately. Landscape orientation may give touch controls more room, but use the layout your browser actually supports. Once the basic actions feel clear, begin the objective rather than judging the game from an unfamiliar first input.
